All Hit Radio was presented as part of In-Situ curated by Serena Chalker and Geordie Crawley, in association with presenting partners STRUT Dance  and TURA New Music. Reactivating the school radio station that been untouched for over a decade, 'All Hit Radio' was a site specific durational work that explored the possibility of channelling the forgotten history and entities of the surrounding area. During the performance viewers could dial into the radio station and request their favourite song (30 seconds only) from an anonymous DJ, and a performer would respond to that selection whilst also becoming a vessel for the history of the area. The radio station and its frequency became a live channel that not only responded through audience participation but also the sometimes ephemeral nature of time and its many portals that exist to unlock forgotten histories.
